Our office is open Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Office visits are by appointment only.
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment in the office or for a procedure at the hospital, we ask that you do so as far in advance of your scheduled time as possible, so that we can utilitize your time slot for another patient. Appointments that are not cancelled in advance will incur a fee of $50.00.If you need us to refill a prescription, please call us early in the day. Prescription refills will only be called in during normal working hours.
We have around the clock coverage, 7 days per week for emergencies.
If we are unable to answer the telephone when you call, please listen carefully to the message. You will hear what to do for urgent or for routine matters. When leaving a message, please leave your name, a brief description of the problem, and a phone number where you may be reached. Urgent calls will be answered as they are received. Routine (non-emergency) calls will be returned at the end of the day, generally after 4:00 PM.
If you feel that your call is about a life-threatening emergency, you should call 911 immediately; do not wait to reach us or for us to call you back. If you need to reach us because of an urgent matter, please follow the automated instructions. Non-emergency calls will be answered the next business day, including calls for prescription refills.
If your phone line does not accept caller-ID blocked calls, we may not be able to return your call outside of our office hours. If this is the case, we will attempt to contact you during the next business day.

We will provide you with assistance in working with your insurance company. It is critical that you inform us if your insurance plan requires a referral for visits to our office or for procedures, or if your insurance plan has restrictions on which laboratories or hospitals you may use. We will attempt to confirm all referrals prior to your visit. However, it is your responsibility to obtain a referral from your primary care physician prior to your visit with us. If you do not do so, your insurance company may not cover the services that we provide. You will remain responsible for any outstanding balance on your account with us. We request that you bring any referral authorizations with you to your office visit, which will assist us in ensuring that your insurance company provides you with the appropriate coverage.
At the time of your visit, we would appreciate it if you would pay the co-pay that your insurance requires and settle any outstanding balance you may have with us.
If you have any changes in your insurance coverage, please let us know.
E-mail is a convenient way for you to communicate with our office and for us to communicate with you, especially for "routine" matters such as a prescription refill or non-urgent questions, and we will be happy to communicate with you in this manner.
You should be aware that your email may not be private or confidential, especially if you use one provided by your employer. In addition, it is not our policy to discuss detailed issues about your particular health care problem by e-mail.
E-mail may not be answered daily, so if you are experiencing an emergency, do not email us. In the event of an emergency, CALL 911.
